Ken was born in Hong Kong, China, and moved to Canada. Ken became a Notary Public in 2017. He has a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia, and a Masters of Arts in Applied Legal Studies from Simon Fraser University. He also completed the paralegal certificate at the Vancouver Community College. After he became a Notary Public, he started his practice in Vancouver.
Before becoming a notary, Ken was a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified General Accountant with five years of experience in retail, legal practices, accounting practices, and public companies. A major component of accounting is the Income Tax Act (Canada). Ken made the transition from accounting to applied legal studies because Ken was interested in applied legal studies. Also, many people and businesses require notarial and accounting services.
